For the past 12 years Andrew Johnston has been an integral member of Bendigo Baptist Church, dedicating his time and energy to various roles within the Ministry Team. Initially serving as the Connect & Care Pastor for nine years, Andrew is now the Eaglehawk Campus Pastor, a position he has held for the past couple of years. His passion for ministry lies in modelling biblical discipleship and providing support to others on their own journey of spiritual growth. At the Eaglehawk Campus Andrew is committed to fostering a sense of belonging, and helping individuals realise their God-given calling. Outside of his official responsibilities, Andrew describes himself as a foodie and cherishes moments spent with his family, particularly his wife, Jillian, and their three children: Sarah, Matthew, and Timothy.

of the night is to foster a relational environment that encourages meaningful conversations. We meet at the
Pizza Oven in the Eaglehawk Community Garden.
Come join us on Wednesday nights 6:00-8:00pm.
There is currently no regular Women’s Ministry happening.

The garden is an essential aspect of Eaglehawk’s community engagement. Led by Lloyd Crothers, the community garden meets every second Saturday morning between 9:00-11:00pm.
A dedicated group individuals regularly participates,
contributing to the garden's maintenance, planting, harvesting,
and construction. Notable features of the garden include
wicking beds, composting, a worm farm and a Dutch bucket hydroponic system.
The garden offers a fantastic opportunity for those interested in sustainability, organic gardening, recycling, upcycling, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Each session includes a morning tea or lunch, providing a wonderful setting for faith conversations.

Bendigo Baptist Church’s Children’s Ministry is a part of our larger Generations Ministry, partnering with families as they take the lead role in discipling their children.
Sarah Chignell and Andy Cameron are two of our fantastic volunteers and lead our children's ministry on Sunday mornings during church on a 2 on 1 off rotation during school term.
Our youth is passionate about seeing the next generation of teenagers come to know Jesus. We are on mission to see local teenagers in Bendigo, grow to be the best the can be, develop their love for others, and come to know and follow Jesus for themselves. Sarah Chignell also leads our youth ministry on Friday nights between 5:30-7:30pm twice a school term.
